The Holiday Management system displays all company holidays with filtering and search capabilities. Holiday data comes from Holiday Master and Holiday Allocation settings in the Leave Setup module.

Holiday List View

The holiday interface shows all configured holidays in a table format with:

  • Title - Holiday name
  • Holiday Date - Date of the holiday
  • Day - Day of the week
  • Action - Management options

Filter

Filter Options:

  • Search by State
  • Filter by Branch
  • Filter by Year

Data Sources

Holiday data comes from Holiday Master and Holiday Allocation configurations in the Leave Setup module.

Holiday Master:

  • Core company holidays
  • Annual recurring holidays
  • Regional and cultural holidays

Holiday Allocation:

  • Department-specific holidays
  • Employee group holidays
  • Location-based holidays
  • Custom holiday assignments

Best Practices

For HR Personnel:

  • Keep holiday lists updated annually
  • Review Holiday Allocations quarterly
  • Communicate holiday changes promptly
  • Coordinate with different departments

For System Users:

  • Use filters to find specific holidays
  • Verify holiday dates before planning
  • Check applicable holiday allocations
  • Plan leaves around holidays

Common Issues

Holiday Not Displaying:

  • Check Holiday Master configuration
  • Verify Holiday Allocation settings
  • Confirm employee group assignments

Filter Not Working:

  • Clear browser cache and reload
  • Check filter criteria spelling
  • Try different filter combinations

Incorrect Holiday Information:

  • Contact HR for holiday verification
  • Check Holiday Master source data
  • Report discrepancies to system administrator
